Invitation for Prequalification and Expression of Interest for 2017 projects

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) wishes to invite interested, competent and reputable contractors/suppliers and service providers for the participation in 2017 projects under the following Categories:

Interested and reputable Contractors/Suppliers and service providers are required to submit the following:
a)    Certificate of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
b)    Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2016, 2015, and 2014) expiring 31st December, 2017
c)    Company Audited Statement of Account for the past three years duly stamped by a registered auditor (2016, 2015 and 2014)
d)    Evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004 by inclusion of valid Pension Clearance Certificate from PENCOM
e)    Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amendment Act 2011 by inclusion of copy Compliance Certificate of remittances
f)    Evidence of registration on the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP’s) National Data Base of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service providers by inclusion of Interim Registration Report (IRR)
g)    Verifiable evidence (Award letters, Contract Agreements etc) of having carried out three (3) similar assignments of the same nature during the past five (5) years
h)    Comprehensive Company profile with verifiable passport data page of all Directors
i)    A letter of introduction from the Bank
j)    A sworn statement that the company is not in receivership or about to be in receivership or not a replacement for a hitherto tax defaulting company
k)    Submission of up to date license by Nigeria Security & Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) to operate as a private guard company in line with the provision of the Private Guards Act CAP 367 of the Federation of Nigeria 1990.(This requirement is applicable for Security Services Only)
l)    Submission of up to date evidence of registration with Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON).This requirement is applicable for the Cleaning Services Only

Three (3) bound copies (one original and two copies) of the documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the top left hand side of the envelope ‘’ (State Category and lot no…………………………...)’’.

A duly signed document should be arranged in the order listed above and paginated before submission. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to rejection of the submission.

The documents must be dropped into the Tender Box located at the Commission’s Secretariat Unit on the 2nd floor, Room 203 not later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 and addressed to the following:

Please note that,

(i)    The documents will be opened immediately after close of submission at the Commission’s Hearing Room 119 located on the 1st floor.

(ii)    Late Submissions will be rejected.
