The initial Stakeholder Advisory Panel (iSAP) is one of the market governance panels of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) saddled with the following responsibilities specified in Rule 42.2(a) of the Market Rules:
a) Reviewing the Market Rules and the Grid Code and proposing and or approving amendments thereto on an on-going basis; and
b) Advising the Commission on such specific technical issues relating to the operation of the Market Operator Administered Market, as may be referred to the Stakeholder Advisory Panel by the Commission.
Consequent upon a receipt of a request for an amendment of the Market Rules the Panel had deliberated on the amendment and submitted its report thereon to the Commission. A copy of the said report is hereby released to all stakeholders for their information.
Pursuant to Rule 45.5.18, all stakeholders (including the person who initiated amendment request) are at liberty to forward any objections they may have on the report to the Commission within 7 working days of this publication.
