Osarieme Olubunmi Ezekiel

Osarieme Olubunmi Ezekiel obtained a first degree in English from the University of Benin in 1984 and graduated with a degree in Law in 1989. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. In 1997, she acquired a Masters in Business Administration.

She also has immense experience in corporate governance and compliance issues having worked as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of a Nigerian Commercial Bank for several years.

Ms. Ezekiel currently works at Oakwell Partners, a Commercial Law firm, as Managing Partner and also consults for various corporate organisations.

A passionate advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Ms. Ezekiel is a leading mediation practitioner with over a decade as a CEDR UK accredited mediator and commercial Negotiator. Ms. Ezekiel is also an IMI (International Mediation Institute) certified Mediator. She mediates in disputes across several sectors including, Power, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas, Construction, Commercial, Labour, Employment, Family, Community, Banking & Finance and Property disputes. She carries out training in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. She has attended various international programmes including the University of Pepperdine Faculty of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.

She is on the Panel of Neutrals of the Lagos Multi-Door Court House and the NCC (Nigerian Communications Commission). She is also on the Governing Council and on the Faculty of the University of Lagos/NCMG College of Negotiation as well as the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates (SCMA) Nigeria. Ms. Ezekiel is a member of the Dispute Resolution Panel of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and a member of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates UK.

Being a qualified trainer, she is a sought after facilitator for several professional bodies and corporate organizations. She is versatile, multi-talented, a consensus builder and an excellent administrator.

She is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
